Facebook will send you notifications of activity that directly involves you such as tags, comments, or group activity. These notifications can be checked by logging into your Facebook account, opening the notifications menu, and selecting individual notifications or viewing the entire archive. These basic steps will work regardless of which platform you are using.
Seeing All Notifications on FacebookTo find your notifications on Facebook, tap the globe icon. You can clear your notifications by selecting "Mark as Read" atop the dropdown list. Keep in mind that private messages and friend requests don't appear under the "Notifications" menu.
